| The TELESYNC TSI-1509A
DS-1 Programmable Source may be used as a stand alone DS-1 source
for testing and loading DS-1 facilities, or it can serve as a DS-1
clock distribution unit by using the external clock input feature.
With SF, ESF and OFF framing, patterns of standard QRSS, 3 in 24,
1's, two 2048-bytes programmable, and "THRU" with AMI or B8ZS coding,
the TSI-1509A allows the testing of all current T carrier, fiber optics
T1 facilities and ESF channel banks. Front panel switches allow easy
set-up and configuration of the 7 groups of 8 outputs (56 total),
and the Group 8 front panel output. The 8 groups may be independently
set to different modes. The front panel output allows easy patching
for special test needs. The low 1.75" vertical profile allows the
TSI-1509A to be easily added to a crowded rack and provide outputs
at the point of need. Fail contacts are available on a rear panel
terminal block for status monitoring. The RS232C interface allows
full remote operation and loading of the programmable data patterns. |
