TS-235 Release Notes

  Added the ability to configure phone numbers used in BRI calls between
  the TS-235 and the video conference system (VCS).

  1-  The following SYS PHONE command now provides some new capability:


  SYS  PHONE  phone_num

          where phone_num  is the number provided to the VCS during negotiation
                           phase of BOND calls originated by the VCS.

                           The number will also be the Calling Party Number in
                           the SETUP message of all originated calls.


  2- Three new SYS PHONE options (VCS1, VCS2, and VCSBOND) are now provided to
     configure the phone numbers used in BRI calls originated toward the VCS.


     SYS  PHONE  VCS1     phone_num

            where phone number  is used to call the VCS in response to incoming
                                56/64k calls on Network Port 1.



     SYS  PHONE  VCS2     phone_num

            where phone number  is used to call the VCS in response to incoming
                                56/64k calls on Network Port 2.



     SYS  PHONE  VCSBOND  phone_num

            where phone number  is used to call the VCS in response to incoming
                                high bandwidth calls on Network Port 1.


  3- The default values for new options are the same non-configurable values
     used in previous software versions.

  =============================

  1- Changes to ensure that the network clock (V.35 or RS449) is stable before
     launching the BRI calls toward the video system.

  2- Corrected a potential problem in which the measured value of the network
     clock(s) might be erroneous due to a corrupted read of one of the
     microprocessor's 32-bit timers.
